Fine and rare, half-hunting, keyless, double-dial, astronomic, five-minute-repeating, 14K gold watch with “independent calendar” and moon phases. Four-body,“bassine et filets”, solid, polished, both covers spring-loaded with patented device preventing the opening of the lower cover, front with aperture and champlevé Roman numerals. Front: white enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute track with 5-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Gilt “Louis XV” hands. Back: calendar dial all in Chinese characters, outer 31-day date track, subsidiary days of the week at 9 and months at 3, aperture for the moon phases. Cal. 46mm, nickel,“fausses côtes” decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band.Dial signed.Diam. 54 mm.
