Two-body,“Directoire”, case back painted on enamel with a scene depicting a couple in a park, gold paillon palm in the foreground, paillon border, paste-set bezel. White enamel with red radial Arabic duodecimal chapter, on the outermost with outer minute divisions and fifteen-minute Arabic markers, inner with Roman decimal chapter and decimal minute ring, center painted on enamel with French revolutionary symbols in paillon frame. Gold “Breguet” and pierced hands. 45 mm (20’’’), hingedfrosted gilt, full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusée and chain, verge escapement, brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock.Diam. 54 mm.
