TORIC QUANTIEME PERPETUEL RETROGRADE: The Rebirth of a Classic of "Haute Horlogerie" Parmigiani’s Toric Quantième Perpétuel Rétrograde, although present in the collections for several years, has been completely redesigned in order to house the first retrograde perpetual calendar movement entirely manufactured by Parmigiani. Conceived on the basis of the Calibre 331 Parmigiani Fleurier self-winding mechanical movement inaugurated in 2001, it integrates, in its version Caliber 332, the additional "quantième perpétuel rétrograde 290" plaque, which was also executed in the Fleurier workshop. The Toric Quantième Perpétuel Rétrograde has a strikingly new look. Its engine-turned, silvered, 18K gold dial is embellished with applied white mother-of-pearl for the sectors and the oval bearing the Parmigiani logo. In addition to the classic indications of the hours, minutes, and seconds, it features the invaluable month and day of the week indications in two large apertures, the retrograde date, the leap year, and the moon phases. Along with its exceptional esthetic qualities, this wristwatch features a technical advance: the "lune de précision", until now never implemented in a Parmigiani Fleurier wristwatch. The moon cycle habitually used in horological calculations, of 29 days and 12 hours, and the actual cycle, which is precisely 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2,8 seconds. The additional "lune de précision" wheel train reduces the gap between the two, making an adjustment
