So-called "Paul Newman". Rolex Cosmograph "Daytona", Ref. 6240, with steel bezel. Produced from 1965 to 1969. Very fine and very rare, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer and a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, tachometer graduation on the bezel to 200 units per hour. Matte silver and black with applied steel indexes and tritium dots, "guilloché" subsidiary sunk seconds, 12-hour and 30-minute registers dials. Tritium-coated "Bâton" steel hands. Cal. 722, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 3 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring.Dial, case, and movement signed.
