So-called "James Bond" Rolex, Oyster Perpetual "Submariner", Ref. 6205. Production of this reference started circa 1954. Fine center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman’s wristwatch with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, graduated revolving black bezel for the decompression times. Black with radium-coated round and bâton indexes. Radium-coated steel "Skeleton" hands. Notes The reference 6205, is among the first versions with reference 6204, of the most famous "Submariner" wristwatch . This model does not yet bear the crown-guard system and the depth indications on the dial.
