Two-body, "fermée type", both covers of silver, gilt brass band, front cover engraved (in the style of EtienneDelaune) with Apollo and his attributes: the lyre, bow and quiver, laurel-leaf wreath, countryside in the back-ground,border with inhabited foliage, back engraved with Diana holding a crescent moon, her dog by her side,border decorated en suite, band pierced and engraved with hunting scene and foliage. Silver ring, champlevéradial Roman numerals, half hour markers, center alarm ring with Arabic numerals engraved with an archerstalking a deer, fleur-de-lis pointer indicating the hours, bronze trefoil hand, outer finely engraved with mer-maids,exotic birds, foliage and cherub head mask.
