Rolex "Prince Brancard" Chronometer, Ref. 1491 HS. Produced in the 1930s. Very fine and rare, jump-hour, rectangular curved, flared, 18K white gold gentleman’s wristwatch. Two-body, flared, polished and brushed, stepped sides. Two-tone silver with painted Arabic numerals forthe minutes, subsidiary seconds, aperture for the jump-hours in red Arabic numerals. Blued steel "Moderne"hands. Notes Ref 1491 and 1491 HS. Manufactured in solid silver, in stainless steel, stainless steel and gold, in 9K, 14K, and 18K gold, in 9K, 14K and 18K bicolored gold, and in platinum.
