So-called "Pre-Daytona" Rolex Chronograph, Ref. 6238. Production of this reference started in the 1960s. Fine tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel gen-tleman’s wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tachometer. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. Satinésilver with tritium-coated applied steel indexes, guilloché sunk subsidiary dials for theseconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer tachometer graduation. Tritium-coatedsteel "Bâton" hands.
