Paul Piguet-Capt, Brassus, Swiss, circa 1920. Very fine 18K gold hunting-cased keyless lever chronometer with instantaneous 30-minute registerchronograph, in original fitted box. Five-body, “bassine”, polished, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths, minute recorder at 12, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold “Spade” hands. 43 mm (19’’’), rhodium-plated, “fausses-côtes” decoration, 27 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, “swan-neck” micrometric regulator. Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 55 mm.Paul Piguet-Capt was a well known maker from Brassus who specialized in complicated watches.
