Fine silver and painted on enamel, pearl-set center-seconds watch. two-body, “Chinese” type, back painted on enamel with a portrait of a lady against translucent scarlet enamel over engine-turning, pearl-set bezels, glazed silver gilt cuvette hinged to the movement. white enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute/seconds divisions with fifteen-minute/seconds Arabic markers. Blued steel “spade” hands. 47 mm (21’’’), gilt brass fully engraved “Chinese” caliber, free-standing barrel, lever escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Case punched with London prestige marks in the typical Bovet manner.Diam. 56 mm.
