England, circa 1840. 13 piece Wedgwood Etruria bone porcelain partial dessert service in the Imari palette comprising a pair of tall compotes marked Y1817 (approximate height 4.5", diameter 8.8"); pair of 9" plates or underplates with raised rim marked X1127; three low compotes marked X1127 (appproximate height 2.5", diameter 8.8"); and six dessert plates marked X1127 (approximate diameter 8.8"). All plates are octagonal in form and heavily gilded with alternating floral decoration of the 8 panels within a cobalt blue and gilt border.
