The Pear Esquivillion & Dechoudens, Geneva, No. 77886, circa 1800. Fine and rare 18K gold and enamel pear form watch with concealed dial. Two-body, "fermée" type, the spring-loaded front revealing the dial, both covers decorated with cherry blossoms on green enamel ground. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute dot divisions and Arabic quarters. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. 20 mm, hinged, gilt brass full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, continental cock pierced and engraved, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate.Dial and movement signed.Diam. 24 mm, 44 mm high.
