Geneva, No. 9936, circa 1820. Very fine 18K gold musical watch playing on the hour or at will, with quarter-repeating, in leather fitted box. Gold, engine-turned wave pattern, champlevé Roman numerals, outer minute dot divisions. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. Notes This type of watch was first designed by Piguet et Meylan; it is identical in construction to similar watches by Piguet et Meylan.
