Very fine and rare, oversized, 18K pink gold gentleman,s wristwatch with square button chronograph, register and tachometer. Accompanied by the "Extract from the Archives". Three-body, solid, polished, sloped bezel, faceted teardrop lugs. Matte silver with applied pink goldpyramidal indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer tachometergraduation, concentric, 1/5th second scale. Pink gold "feuille" hands. Notes Ref. 1579 Production began in 1943. This reference was produced in Staybrite very rare, in steel with pink gold lugs, bezel, and crown extremely rare, in yellow gold standard production, pink and in white gold extremely rare. Only three examples were made in platinum.
