Very fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel, gentleman's wristwatch, with a stainless steel Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Two-body, polished, screwed-down case back, anti-magnetic protecting cap, flat bezel, straight lugs. Matte silver with applied steel bâton indexes, subsidiary seconds. Steel "bâton" hands. Cal. 27-AM 400, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium plated, “fausses-cotes” decoration, 18 jewels, bronzeberyllium straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 35 mm. Height 10,2 mm. Notes Ref. 3417 Production of this reference started in 1958. The caliber 12'''-400 was in production then, and some of the examples were AmagnetiC. The Amagnetic cal. 27-400 AM was launched in 1960. Amagnetic calibers are fitted with a bronze beryllium lever escapement and are protected by a soft iron cap.
