So-called “Pre-Daytona” Rolex Oyster Chronograph, "Anti-Magnetic", Ref. 6034. Produced circa 1950s. Very fine and extremely rare tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer and telemeter. Accompanied by a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Two-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown. Black with applied gold ogival-shaped indexes and tritium dots, subsidiary sunk seconds, 12-hour and30-minute register dials, outer gold painted tachometer and telemeter graduations. Yellow gold "Alpha" hands. Notes Ref. 6034 Produced in the 1950s and at the beginning of the 1960s, Ref. 6034 succeeded Ref. 4537, which was produced in 1946 in a very few examples, in yellow or pink gold, and in stainless steel.
