Four-body, “pommes”, reeded band, silver, hinged cuvette, engraved cartouche on the back, gold bolt at 2 for the chronograph, gold hinges. Off-white, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths. Gold “spade” hands. 45 mm, frosted gilt 3/4-plate, jeweled to the center, lateral counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with flat balance spring.Diam. 58 mm. Notes Watches incorporating patent No. 2924, registered by T. Mills on July 23, 1878, for a chronograph without return to zero, are rarely found.
