The Cooper's Yard Swiss, circa 1810. Very fine and rare 18K gold and painted on enamel quarter-repeating double-faced watch with automaton. Two-body, glazed, polished with faceted bezels. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions with fifteen-minute Arabicmarkers, winding apertures for going train and automaton. Blued-steel Breguet hands. The reversEapplied gold and silver scene witha cooper working, his assistant hammering, a running fountain, over a finely painted on enamel ground depicting an extensive Alpinelake scene.
