The Harbor George Prior, London, No. 41585, made for the Islamic market, circa 1810. Very fine and large 18K gold and painted on enamel, triple-cased petite sonnerie clockwatch. White enamel with Islamic numerals, outer minute divisions, Islamic five minute marks. Gold “beetle and poker” hands. 38 mm, gilt brass full plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement, steel three-arm balance, flat balance-spring, one-footed cock pierced and engraved with asymmetrical foliage with diamond endstone, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate with Turkish numerals, striking on bell, silent/strike lever at 9.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 47 mm.
