Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 497451, case No. 324914, made for the Aluminum Company of Canada circa 1947. Very fine and rare aluminum keyless dress watch. Three-piece, “bassine”, polished and matted with presentation engraving on the back. Matte aluminum with appliedpolished aluminum Breguet numerals, outer minute track,subsidiary seconds. Polished aluminum Breguet hands. Notes The total weight of this watch is 19,61 grams. Watches such as this one were produced in very limited numbers beginning in the late 1930s.
