Audemars Piguet, Genève, No. 37125, made for Golay Fils & Stahl, Genève, circa 1927. Very fine and important 18K white gold, keyless, astronomical, minute-repeating watch with perpetual calendar and phases of the moon. Three-piece, “moderne”, brushed with polished band. Silver, champlevé Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, date, months of the four year leap cycle and subsidiary seconds concentric with phases of the moon aperture. Blued steel “cathedral” hands.
