So-called “Hour-Glass” Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 839063, case No. 646960, Ref. 1593. Produced circa 1950. Very fine, rectangular "bombé", flared, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Two-body, solid, polished, concave sides, pillar shaped lugs, two-facet crystal. Matte silver with applied yellow gold dart and dot indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold "Bâton" hands. Notes Ref. 1593 Production of this reference started in 1944. This reference was made in pink, white and yellow gold and very few examples with polychrome cloisonné enamel dials.
