Zenith, No. 32021/32022, circa 1930. Very fine mahogany and gilt brass bezel-wound “Chronometre Zenith” with 54-hour power reserve indicator and stop feature in gimbaled box. Two-body, top corners protected by heavy brass inlay. Brass bowl and gimballed suspension, stop/start lever on the back. Silvered with Arabic numerals, outer 24-hour scale (13 to 24), outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. Blued steel “lozenge” hands. 65 mm, gilt brass, “fausses côtes” decoration, 19 jewels, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, monometallic Glucydur balance with screws, self-compensating Breguet balance spring with terminal curves, micrometrically adjustable regulator pins.Signed on dial, case and movement.Dim.
