Very fine and rare, water-resistant, platinum gentleman’s wristwatch with moon phases and an A. Lange & Söhne platinum buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, transparent case back with 6 screws engraved: “Hommage a Emil Lange 1849 - 1922”, sapphire crystals. Black with applied white gold Arabic numerals, round and star indexes, subsidiary seconds dial at 4, aperture for the moon phases decorated with astronomical star constellation. White gold "alpha" hands. Cal. L 943.1, Glashütte three-quarter plate, rhodium plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 26 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, “swan-neck” micrometer regulator, hand-engraved balance cock.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 36 mm.
