Mido, Swiss, No. 252267, circa 1927. Fine and rare 18K gold keyless dress watch designed as an automobile radiator, from a very limited series specially made for a German Automobile Club. Three body, massive, designed as a radiator, applied with a small enamel plaque painted the logo of the Club. Oxidised silver, decorated in a honeycomb pattern with applied gold Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold "trefle" hands. Notes Mido produced limited series of wrist and pocket watches designed as automobile radiators of different brands, at the request of several Automobile Clubs.
