Fine and rare gilt bronze, quarter-repeating full "grande and petite sonnerie " , carriage clock with four quarter- striking Westminster carillon on four gongs and alarm. Gilt bronze, glazed, "Anglaise Riche" with Corinthian columns White enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals and subsidiary alarm setting dial. Blued-steel "spade " hands. Azure blue flinque enamel over silver engine-turned dial-plate. Brass, eight-day with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, nickel plated platform escapement with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel helical balance spring with terminal curves and micrometric index. Four quarter striking, repeating and alarm on four gongs with button on the top, Grande and Petite Sonnerie/Silent, optional lever in the base. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 18 x 12 x 11 cm., excluding the handle.
