Four body, massive "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. Matt silver with applied white gold indexes. White gold "dauphines" hands. Notes Among the 157 chronometers entered at the contest organised at the Observatory of Geneva in 1900, the first classified was credited with 264.8 marks and the last one with 191.4, out of a total possible of 300 marks. With 186.3 marks only, this chronometer was classified. Therefore, the movement was left in stock. It was completed with the actual dial and case in the 1950's to be sold as a watch.
