Breguet No. 4360, sold to Mr. Hayes on 31 July 1947. Very fine and rare 18K white and yellow gold, moon phase astronomical keyless minute repeating watch with perpetual calendar, power reserve indication, chronograph and tachometer with instantaneous 60 minute recorder. Three piece massive, "Empire " , polished with white gold reeded band and bow (trace of a filled monogram). Hinged gold cuvette. Silver engineturned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, the tachometer scale calculated to the base of 1000, subsidiary dials for days of the week, minute register with inner Up-and-Down half-moon sector, the months of the year and the dates with inner subsidiary seconds and concentric moon phase aperture. Gold Breguet hands. Notes Note: White and yellow gold are used in elegant combination in the case of this watch, in much the same way as the firm combined silver and gold in the early 19th century.
