Breguet No. 1102, completed on 1925, sold to Mr. Tadrous on 8 August 1933, for 5800 Francs. Fine and unusual 18K two coloured gold keyless wandering- time dress watch with jumping digital hour and regular minute hand, in original red leather fitted box. Three piece, "Empire" , polished with reeded band white gold rims, winding crown and bow, the back engraved: "1928 - 10 - 9 - 1933". Fixed matted silver Arabic minute ring, inner concentric revolving engine-turned disc with the digital jumping hour aperture. Gold "baton" minute hand. Notes Note: On the wandering-time system devised by R. Cart, Le Lode, and patented by Breguet circa 1925, the minutes are pointed to by an engine-turned arrow pierced with the aperture of the digital jumping hour volvelle. In this watch, the digital hour aperture jumps every hour in order to reveal the following numeral, which is on the fixed chapter ring beneath; the minutes are shown in the regular way.
