Outer double body, the bezel pierced and engraved with floral decoration, marked "J.P." (John Penny), the back engraved with a coat-of-arms, three crescents in pale on a military trophy and chased with a garland of leaves, the edge pierced and engraved with floral decoration matching that of the bezel. Inner double body, bassine, the back pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage and flowers. White enamel with Turkish numerals. Gold "poker and beetle" hands. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, gilt brass English cock. Striking on a bell with Strike/Silent lever on the bezel. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 62 mm.
