Unsigned, France, No. 26112, circa 1890. Very fine and rare gilt bronze and porcelain, half hour striking and repeating carriage clock with alarm. Gilt bronze, "Gorge", fully engraved with a formal decoration, glazed on the top and back door, with porcelain side panels painted with Pastoral scenes. Porcelain with a decoration matching that of the panels, chapter ring with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. Brass, eight-day with going barrels both on the going and the striking trains, platform with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring. Striking, repeating and alarm on a gongs with button on the top. In very good condition. Dim. 10,5 x 6,5 x 5,5 cm., excluding the handle.
