F. D. Betam in Wien, circa 1830. Fine 18K gold and enamel pendant watch designed as a ball, in the original fitted box. Double body, in the fom of a ball, entirely enamelled with painted scenes depicting three cherubs in landscapes evoking "summertime" on the cover, "wintertime", on the reverse. Contemporary white enamel with Breguet numerals. Later gilt brass hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial. In good condition. Diam. 25 tnm.
