Van Cleef & Arpels, New York, No. 2662, made in the 1940's. Fine and unusual 14K pink gold, gem-set keyless purse watch, designed as a match-box. Three body, rectangular with the date: 15 Aoul 1943, engraved on the back, the sliding lid engraved with gem-set foliage revealing the spring loaded hinged watch. Satine pink gold with black indexes. Blued steel "batons " hands.
