Atwood, Lewes, No. 1157, with London halhnarks for 1828. Fine 18K gold quarter repeating watch. Four body, Empire, engine-turned, the back centred with a small monogram, hinged gold cuvette. Gold engine-turned with applied Roman numerals. Gold "fleurs-de-lys" hands. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, polished steel three arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 52 min.
