Notes Tank a Guichet ( Digital Jumping Hour) First designed in 1928, this type of watch is one of various creations by Cartier drawn from the Tank, embodying two main features: the proportions, and the extended lugs with their unusual rounded outlines to which they owe their name "brancards" ("stretcher"). Several watches of this type were made, the winding-crown position being either at 12 or at 3 o'clock, and with hour and minute apertures of different forms.
