Swiss, circa 1800. Fine 18K gold ruby set ring watch with visible balance. Two piece rectangular with canted corners, rubyset bezel, the back with sliding panel disclosing the winding and setting holes. Small eccentric white enamel with Breguet numerals. Blued-steel hands. Blue enamelled gold dial plate with a circular balance aperture, flanked by gold engraved doves. Shaped inverted gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, going barrel, cylinder escapement, five-arm rose-cut diamond set balance, flat balance spring. Dim. 29 x 19 mm.
