Very fine and extremely rare, astronomic, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, register and tachometer, perpetual calendar and moon phases. massive, polished, concave bezel. matt silver with applied pink gold large Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials, graduation for the clays of the month, outer tachometer graduation, apertures for the clays of the week, the months and the lunations. "Feuille " pink gold hands. Notes It is extremely rare to find the Ref. 1518 with this type of dial featuring large indexes, especially in pink gold. An identical wristwatch but in yellow gold was offered in the thematic sale The Art of Patel? Philippe, 9 April 1989, lot 270, and sold for SFr. 264'000. Production, over that period, totalled 281 examples produced mainly in yellow gold.
