Signed "Käthe Kollwitz" in pencil l.r., signed or inscribed "O Felsing..." in pencil l.l. Etching with aquatint printed in brown-black on paper, plate size 7 1/8 x 5 in. (18.0 x 12.5 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins over 3 1/2 inches, subtle toning, pencil annotation to lower edge and verso. Provenance: Ackermann and Sauerwein, Munich; collection of Ingeborg Tremmel, southern Germany (according to information accompanying the lot); a private Massachusetts collection.
