Two Rectangular Double-panel Famille Verte Tiles, China, Kangxi period (1662-1722), two sides depicting figures in interior scenes with flowerheads on a stylized floral ground, the other sides depicting flowering prunus issuing from rocks and narcissus and camellias with rocks, respectively, both with flowerheads on a scrolling leaf ground, ht. 7 1/2, lg. 10 1/4 in. Provenance: Babson College Sorenson Center for the Arts, Wellesley, Massachusetts. each tile with a hairline crack, one with a small chip on the crack. one tile has been professional restored.
