Edmund Franklin Ward (American, 1892-1991) Illustration/Woman Holding an Armload of Coats and Sweaters. Unsigned, signed and inscribed "E F Ward/93 Court St./White Plains/N.Y...." on the reverse. Mixed media on Whatman watercolor board, 19 1/4 x 19 1/2 in., unframed. Condition: Soiling and staining to margins. Image size is 12 x 15 inches. Inscribed with various notations on the front lower margin, including "WCM" in ink within a oval. Supertone, Inc., stamp on the reverse bears the handwritten date "5/12/48."
