Hand-stitched Pieced Cotton Sunburst/Star Pattern Quilt, America, late 19th century, with five circular sunburst motifs of red and brown patterned, and solid red and green fabric segments, interspersed with solid red, and red pattern-printed eight-point stars, on a field of brown and red floral-printed fabric, with green and brown sawtooth borders, edged in red, and backed with a floral/stripe printed fabric, with outline and parallel line quilting stitches, (scattered light stains), 88 x 86 in.
