Quarto in eights, collated, complete, woodcut title and numerous woodcuts throughout the text, title page printed within woodcut border, somewhat dirty, final thirty pages waterstained at top margin, in later parchment over stiff boards, intact. Chapters in this unusual early book treat topics in alchemy; metallurgy, including bronze casting; mining; and of course, explosives.
