Francis Perigal 18kt Gold Pair Case Quarter-repeating Watch, London, c. 1750, no. 15120, with Richard Oliver, London case, the hallmarked gold Oliver case with internal bell opens to the white porcelain dial with Roman numerals and gold hands, full plate chain fusee movement signed and numbered by maker, push pendant quarter-hour repeating function, pierced balance cock with diamond endstone and cylinder escapement, dia. 50 mm. Note: This reportedly is the last pair case watch made by Richard Oliver in his London shop.
