18kt Gold Triple-date Minute-repeating Watch with Delphin Broussailles Ornamentally Turned Ivory Watch Casket, New York, c. 1980, the 18kt gold demi-case opens to the porcelain dial with Roman numerals, moon's age, month, day of the month, day of the week and seconds dials, stem-wind, lever-set, minute-repeating, fully jeweled movement with slide activation of repeating function and push lever setting for date dials, glass crystal over the damascened nickel plate movement, 58 mm; together with a commissioned ornamentally turned antique African ivory watch casket with threaded lid, the outer and interior surfaces of the lid and the underside of the base fitted with 22kt engine-turned and finely granulated bosses, the base with gold beading and granulated insets, interior fitted with a suede platform, dia. 10 1/2, exterior lid boss dia. 2, interior lid boss dia. 1 9/16, base boss dia. 1 3/8 in. Delphin Broussailles made this casket using the Holtzapffel Rose Engine Lathe No. 16 built in 1797. No significant condition issues, watch in clean and operating condition, watch casket in as new condition.
