Unsigned 18kt Gold Open Face Watch, England, movement no. 56264, case made by Fred Thoms, 1910, case hallmarked for 1910 with stylized engraved monogram on back, porcelain dial with Roman numerals, sunk seconds, and blued spade hands, stem-wind, pin-set, lever escapement, three-quarter plate movement jeweled through the barrel and marked with serial number, dia. 52 mm. Note: Fred Thoms was a traditional case maker using a "pole lathe," which later became part of the Ted Crom horological tool collection.
