Waltham Watch Company Chronometer Watch, Waltham, Massachusetts, mounted in a three-tier, brass-bound mahogany box with inset plaque marked Waltham and brass gimbals, the 2 1/4-in. silvered dial with maker's name, Arabic numerals, "Up-Down" indicator, and marked 8 Days , compensated balance and lever escapement. Unable to open case back to see movement. Much residue of brass polish in evidence. Watch runs but may need cleaning and lubrication.
