Elgin One-day Box Chronometer Watch, Elgin National Watch Company, c. 1950, with 2 1/4-in. Roman numeral dial inscribed Elgin National Watch Co. , seconds dial and spade hands, screw-on bezel, and stem-wind, lever-set eight-day lever-escapement movement, weighted brass bowl and gimbal mount in a two-tier mahogany box with brass plate marked Elgin , box wd. 5, dp. 5, ht. 5 1/4 in. movement runs well, old lacquer on brass surfaces, no significant condition issues.
