New Hampshire Cherry Tall Clock, c. 1790, the pierced fretwork above the arched cornice molding, Greek key carving and inlaid glazed tombstone door, Wilson false plate, painted iron dial with Roman numerals, seconds bit, moon's age in arch and floral spandrels, above fluted columns flanking the waist door with string, crossbanding, and center fan inlay, base with fan spandrels and half-star inlay, all on ogee-bracket feet, eight-day time and strike movement powered by two tin-cased weights and a brass-faced pendulum bob, ht. 93 in. Sections of crossbanding and fan inlay on base missing, bottom board loose and partial loss, small section of object left front foot patched, pads on feet replaced.
