Mahogany Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, Concord, Massachusetts, c. 1825, with a 7 3/4-in. dia. Arabic numeral painted iron dial, half-round molding framing reverse-painted tablets, throat glass marked Patent , lower portion depicting a rural scene with a Grecian-style house, five-piece chestnut backboard with single machine screw attaching an eight-day time-only movement, with lead weight and pendulum, ht. 33 3/4 in. Painted glasses appear to be original, undisturbed original surface, dial cleaned and relined. Object left lower glass cracked in upper corner, 2 1/2 piece half round molding missing in same area
