Stanley Brass Surveyor's Transit, London, no. 24129, the 11-in. telescope with sun shade and rack focusing, 6 1/2-in. vertical circle with silvered scale, dual verniers and magnifiers all on a U-shaped frame, the horizontal circle with encased scale, dual verniers and magnifiers, central compass with cardinal points, and horizontal rack adjustment on sub base, all on three adjustable screw feet. Optics appear good overall . A cleaning suggested.
